 If you are able to go to the courthouse in person and would like to view and/or purchase court documents, please follow the steps below. 

STEP 1:         

To help expedite the process, please have the following information ready in order to view or purchase copies of case documents: 1) case number 2) and the title or description of document you are requesting to purchase and/or view.

Here is a copy of the form, you will be asked to fill out when requesting a case document.

You may visit eCourt Kokua to access the FREE online case information database.  If you do not have access to a computer or Internet, free access is provided at a designated computer at the courthouse, at the court’s Law Library, or at a library near you.

It is important to note that requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Requests involving multiple files or documents, files on microfilm, and files stored off-site may require additional fees, costs, and processing time.

STEP 2:

It is generally best to obtain case documents at the courthouse in the jurisdiction where the complaint/petition was filed or where the infraction/crime took place.  Please see the list of locations below, which are open during regular business hours between 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., M-F
