HCBA Scholarship Winner Named

Kamehameha Schools-Hawaii senior Ka’ilikea Kekuawela was named the Hawaii County Bar Association 2018 scholarship winner. The 2018 Hawaii County Bar Association held its annual Scholarship Luncheon for members and special guests on May 16 at the Hilo Yacht Club.
Ka’ilikea Kekuawela, a senior at Kamehameha Schools-Hawaii, was honored for his winning essay on the required topic of “Should schools be allowed to discipline students based on the content of their online posts?” He won a $1,000 scholarship.
