Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald Honored by Hawaii Women Lawyers

Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald was recognized with the Outstanding Judicial Achievement Award for his exceptional leadership of the Hawaii State Judiciary, as well as his passionate advancement of access to justice for all.
In addition to CJ, the following were also recognized:
• Distinguished Service Award: Avis Aokele Kalama, Executive Director of the Windward Spouse Abuse Shelter
• Outstanding Woman Lawyer Award: Jennifer Solidum Rose, Director of the University of Hawaii Office of Institutional Equity
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Vanessa Chong, retired Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union
• President’s Award: Sen. Rosalyn Baker, Hawaii State Legislature
