Sakai and Foo Confirmed by Senate

The Judiciary’s Dwight Sakai and Nathan Foo were confirmed by the Senate to serve four-year terms as Compact Administrator for the State Council for Interstate Adult Offender and Juvenile Supervision, respectively. The confirmation took place on April 19, 2018.

They were nominated by Gov. David Y. Ige to fill these positions.

Sakai is the Social Services Manager for the Adult Client Services Branch of the First Circuit. The Adult Client Services Branch provides probation and probation-related services for the District, Family, and Circuit Courts. He has been serving as Hawaii’s Interim Compact Administrator for the State Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision.

Foo is the Social Services Manager for the Juvenile Client Services Branch of the First Circuit, a position which oversees all juvenile services for Family Court, First Circuit.
