Judge Michelle L. Drewyer
Michelle L. Drewyer was sworn in as Judge of the Circuit Court of the Second Circuit on June 13, 2023. Judge Drewyer served as a per diem (part-time) family court and district court judge from 2005 until she was appointed to her current full time circuit court position. She has worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney, deputy public defender, and maintained her own practice consisting of both criminal and civil work. She is familiar with arbitrations, mediations, and specialty courts. She has worked among the outer islands of Maui County serving in the rural district and family courts.
Judge Drewyer is a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and was admitted to the bar in 1991.
