State courts and Judiciary operations on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi will be closed Tuesday, September 8, due to Hurricane Lowell.  Jurors on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi should not report to court Tuesday.

Judge Lono J. Lee

Lono J. Lee was appointed by Chief Justice Ronald T.Y. Moon as a Per Diem Judge for the First Circuit District Court in July of 2000 and later as Judge in June of 2003. Currently, Judge Lee is the Deputy Chief Judge of the First Circuit District Court.

Judge Lee received his law degree from the University of Hawai’i William S. Richardson School of Law in 1987. He served as Deputy Prosecutor, Deputy Corporation Counsel and Ethics Attorney with the City and County of Honolulu, Legislative Attorney with the State of Hawaii, and private practice.
