Kaneohe District Court Scheduled to Close from December 9 through December 13 for Repairs

Honolulu, HI- The Kaneohe District Court (Abner Paki Hale) at 45-939 Pookela Street will be closed from Friday, December 9, 2016 through Tuesday, December 13, 2016 due to necessary air conditioning system repair work. The only exception to the closure are the return hearings for summary possession cases that are scheduled to be heard on Friday, December 9, 2016. 

All other parties with cases scheduled during the closure dates received written notification of a continuance through the U.S. Postal Service, and attorneys were notified electronically.  Hearings or trials cancelled due to the closure of the court have been rescheduled to the next available date with due regard for any statutory mandates.

The Chief Justice issued an order extending deadlines for filing items due from Friday, December 9, 2016 through Tuesday, December 13, 2016 to Wednesday, December 14, 2016.  All documents due during the court closure will be considered timely if filed by the close of business on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
