Applications Sought For Attorneys and Judges Assistance Program

The Attorneys and Judges Assistance Program Board (AAP) has three lawyer  Board positions to be filled. Terms are for three years and are not compensated although travel is reimbursed.  

Duties of the Board include:  Adopt policy and procedures to carry out the objectives of the Program which was established to assist in the form of education, guidance, emotional support, and monitoring treatment of attorneys and judges who suffer from substance abuse, stress or other problems affecting their professional performance. Board members must also be willing to devote the time to perform the necessary duties of the AAP including learning the functions and procedures of the organization.

The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to February 23, 2015.  Those interested in serving should submit a resume and letter indicating their interested in serving to:
