Applicants Sought for Board of Bar Examiners

The Nominating Committee of the Supreme Court has announced it is accepting applications from attorneys wishing to serve as members of the Board of Bar Examiners.

The Committee will make recommendations to the Court who shall appoint the examiners. The Board examines, recommends and records applicants for admission to the bar and gives written examinations to test the legal and educational qualifications and knowledge of legal ethics of each applicant. The newly appointed examiners will serve three year terms beginning November 1, 2013.

Interested attorneys should submit a letter of interest along with a resume to Gayle J. Lau, Chair, at P.O. Box 26436, Honolulu, HI 96825-6436. The deadline for applying is September 30, 2013.
