Applicants Sought for Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection Board
Posted on Nov 14, 2011 in Press ReleasesApplicants are being sought for a vacancy on the Lawyers Fund for Client Protection of the Bar of Hawaii board (Fund). The duties of the board are to oversee and administer the Fund, the purpose of which is to reimburse to the extent provided by the Rules of the Hawaii Supreme Court, losses caused by the dishonest conduct of members of the bar.
The vacancy is for one of the attorney positions on the board with the term expiring on January 31, 2015. Its members serve without compensation (although travel is reimbursed) and are appointed by the Supreme Court of Hawaii.
Interested attorneys should send a letter and resume indicating their interest in serving on the Fund board to:
