Water Main Break Closes Kaneohe Courthouse

Posted on Jun 14, 2011 in Press Releases

A water main break which occurred in Kaneohe this morning has resulted in the closure of the Kaneohe district court for the rest of the day.

Court officials anticipate the building will be open to the public tomorrow morning.

Court hearings scheduled for today were completed before the courthouse was closed.

As a result of the outage, the Hawaii Supreme Court issued an order extending — by one day — any Kaneohe district court matter with a filing or hearing due date of June 14.
