The Hawai`i State Judiciary is sponsoring a free public informational session, “Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning,” from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in the Supreme Court Conference Room, 417 South King Street.

The speaker, Judy Lee, is a partner in the law firm of Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel where her practice includes estate planning, trust administration, estate and trust dispute resolution, probate and conservatorship. She is a graduate of Santa Clara University, where she received a law degree and a Masters of Business Administration. She has been awarded the highest peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, has been elected to the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and has been recognized with a listing in The Best Lawyers in America (2006, 2007 and 2008 editions).

Lee currently serves as a director of the Hawai`i Estate Planning Council. She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Hawai`i School of Law, and is a Certified Financial Planner.

This session is part of the “Lunch ‘n’ Learn the Law” program, a series of free seminars featuring topics relating to specific areas of the law and the courts. Volunteer presenters include judges, attorneys, court officials and other subject-matter experts.
