Posted on Nov 1, 2006 in Press Releases

The Hawai`i State Judiciary will hold a public session on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, to provide the latest updates on plans for the Kapolei Court Complex and to gather comments and suggestions from interested members of the public. The meeting will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Supreme Court conference room on the second floor of Ali`iolani Hale, 417 South King St. in downtown Honolulu.

This much-needed complex in the rapidly developing Kapolei community will help relieve overcrowding at existing O`ahu courthouses and provide many judicial services for the `Ewa region. The complex will also include a new Juvenile Detention Facility.

Information about plans for the complex is available by accessing the Special Projects section of the Judiciary Web site: www.courts.state.hi.us. Written comments may be submitted at any time using an online feedback form. They may also be sent to the Office of the Administrative Director of the Courts, Attention: Public Affairs Office, 417 South King St., Room 206C, Honolulu, HI 96813-2902, or by email to pao@courts.state.hi.us.
