Big Island Court Volunteers Assist During Ironman Triathlon

 Volunteers included the Big Island Drug Court and Big Island Veteran Treatment Court clients, staff and alumni.  Also, volunteering was Board President Peter Kubota, Carol Kitaoka (Deputy Prosecutor, retired)  and Judge Ronald Ibarra (not pictured).  Volunteers helped to man an aid station, giving out water and food to all the athletes.  It was inspiring for all of the volunteers to see the efforts put forth by all the atheletes.

On October 10, 2015, the Friends of the Big Island Drug Court helped at the World Ironman Triathlon Championships. Volunteers included the Big Island Drug Court and Big Island Veteran Treatment Court clients, staff and alumni.
