On Saturday, First Circuit Family Court hosted a community service event to give the lanai a needed splash of color. Under the leadership of Tim Bramsen of Bowers & Kubota, approximately 50 volunteers from the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, Waianae Clubhouse, Hawaii Youth Helping Youth, Hawaii State Bar Association, Hawaii Families as Allies, and others spent the day painting the lanai at Hale Hilinai. Funding for the project was provided by Tim Bramsem and the Construction Management Association of America. The youth and their adult mentors helped create a healing space for all the youth who benefit from the programs and services available at Hale Hilinai.
