Veterans Court Honored by State House of Representatives

Judge Edward Kubo, Jr. received a resolution from the State House of Representatives marking the one-year anniversary of the Hawaii Veterans Court and congratulating Judge Kubo and the members of the Veterans Court team on its success. The office of Rep. Mark Takai, Chair of the House Committee on Veterans, Military, and International Affairs, presented the certificate to the team (from left): Cheryl Reavis, Veterans Re-Entry & Justice Outreach Coordinator, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; Marcy Brown, First Circuit Court Veterans Treatment Court Coordinator; Judge Kubo; David Weick, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney; and Okie Amadi, Deputy Public Defender.
