The Friends of the Big Island Drug Court’s entry in the 19th annual Kailua-Kona Independence Day Parade won first place in the “Non-Profit” category. For its entry, Drug Court clients rode and walked alongside a truck decorated for the occasion with red, white and blue balloons, streamers and flags. Fronting the truck was a banner that read, “Big Island Drug Court – Drug Court Works!” Thank you to all who helped and donated supplies, including Just Balloons Hawaii. And congratulations to the Friends of the Big Island Drug Court!
