Attorney applicants are being sought to fill an upcoming vacancy on the Trust Fund Board of the Hawaii Supreme Court Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection (LFCP). The appointee will serve a five-year term beginning February 1, 2020.

Board members are appointed by the Hawaii Supreme Court and serve without compensation (although travel costs are reimbursed). The duties of the LFCP are to oversee and administer the Fund, which was established to reimburse, to the extent provided by the Rules of the Hawaii Supreme Court, losses caused by the dishonest conduct of members of the Hawaii State Bar Association.
