The following statement was issued from Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald regarding the Las Vegas shooting:
“The people of Hawaii have a particularly close affiliation to Las Vegas, both as a favorite vacation spot and where many former Hawaii residents now make their home. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families affected by this devastating tragedy.”
