Judge Tracy S. Fukui
Judge Tracy S. Fukui was sworn in as a First Circuit District Court Judge by Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald on November 16, 2020. She was previously employed as the Section Head of the Civil Rights and Employment Litigation Section of the Office of the Corporation Counsel for the City and County of Honolulu, a partner at Agsalda & Fukui, a sole practitioner at the Law Office of Tracy S. Fukui, and as a Deputy Public Defender.
Judge Fukui also previously served as an arbitrator for the Hawaii Court Annexed Arbitration Program, Board Member for the HSBA Lawyer Referral and Information Service, and as Grand Jury Counsel.
She received her Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii. She was admitted to practice law in the State of Hawaii in 1998, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 2010.
