NOTICE OF PETITION FOR RETENTION HONORABLE DEXTER D. DEL ROSARIO
The Judicial Selection Commission announces that the term of the Honorable Dexter D. Del Rosario as Circuit Judge, Circuit Court of the First Circuit (island of Oʻahu), State of Hawaiʻi, will expire on April 14, 2014.
In accordance with article VI, section 3 of the Constitution of the State of Hawaiʻi, Judge Del Rosario petitioned the Commission to be retained in judicial office and to be renewed for an additional term. The Constitution of the State of Hawaiʻi empowers the Commission to determine whether Judge Del Rosario should be retained in judicial office for an additional term of ten years.
The Commission invites interested persons to submit written comments and/or fill out an evaluation form on whether Judge Del Rosario should be retained in judicial office for a new term. All written comments and evaluations will be kept CONFIDENTIAL.
