Brief description:

Petitioner/Defendant-Appellant Melodie C. Line (Petitioner) filed an Application for Writ of Certiorari (Application) seeking review of the judgment of the Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) filed on April 28, 2009, pursuant to its April 7, 2009 Summary Disposition Order, affirming the March 3, 2006 Judgment of Conviction and Probation for Hindering Prosecution in the First Degree filed by the circuit court of the second circuit. In her Application, Petitioner argues that a citizen has a right to refuse home entry to plain clothes police who have no warrant and that the ICA erred by holding that the alleged unlawful intrusion by police into Petitioner’s home did not vitiate the Hindering Prosecution charge.
