Lloyd Poelman was sworn in as a Second Circuit district family judge on Friday, December 13th by Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald.  Proudly witnessing his swearing-in ceremony were (from left) Judge Poelman’s sisters, Rebecca Dilg and Kathryn Martin, his mother, Barbara Poelman, and his brother, Kent Poelman. Another brother, Mark Poelman, sister, Jeannette Zobell, and foster brother, David Hunt, all of whom live on the mainland, were unable to attend the event.
