Brief Description:
This case concerns agreements made between Petitioner and Respondents concerning the purchase of properties in Kauai. When the agreements were cancelled, Petitioner sued for breach of contract, for breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and for unfair and deceptive trade practices, among other claims. On appeal, Petitioner contends that the ICA erred in reversing the jury’s finding that the alter ego doctrine was applicable in the case. Relatedly, Petitioner argues that the ICA improperly reversed judgments in his favor concerning his breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and unfair and deceptive trade practices claims.
