Schedule for Civil Cases Heard at Rural District Courts Changed

KOOLAULOA / KOOLAUPOKO COURT

Effective today, January 6, 2010, civil case hearings at the District Court’s Koolauloa/Koolaupoko Divisions will be heard at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesdays.

Small claims, Returnable and Answer calendars will be called at 9:00 a.m. Motions and trials will no longer be heard in Honolulu on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. Instead, hearings will be heard at the Kaneohe courthouse on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m.

EWA COURT

Beginning January 7, 2010, the Ewa Division’s civil calendar will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursdays.

Small claims, Returnable and Answer calendars will be called at 9:00 a.m. Motions and Trials will be set at 9:30 a.m. If not resolved in mediation, Small Claims trials will be heard after any Regular Claims trials.

WAIANAE COURT

Effective March 23, 2010, the Waianae Division’s civil cases will be heard on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 1A at the Kapolei courthouse, 4675 Kapolei Parkway, Kapolei, HI 96707.
