27.1 Do only persons with lifetime revocations qualify for an Ignition Interlock Instruction Permit (IIIP)?
Posted on Jan 13, 2017 inNo. Certain other categories of persons may also qualify to apply for an IIIP, including: 1.) anyone with a Hawai’i driver’s license whose license was expired at the time of arrest; 2.) anyone who had a Hawai’i learner’s permit or instruction permit at the time of arrest; 3.) anyone who was otherwise unlicensed at the time of arrest; or 4.) anyone with an out of state license which was expired at the time of arrest, or will expire during the revocation period.
