Judge Rhonda I.L. Loo was appointed to the Circuit Court for the Second Circuit on June 9, 2011. Prior to her Circuit Court appointment, she was a District Court Judge of the Second Circuit, being appointed on May 1, 1997.  She previously served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Maui.

Judge Loo received her law degree from the University of Hawai’i William S. Richardson School of Law.  She is a member of the Committee on Judicial Performance, facilitated the implementation of the Self Help Center at the Second Circuit, and served as an Officer for the Hawai’i State Trial Judge’s Association.
