O`ahu Family Court Offers Free Monthly Divorce Law Seminar

William C. Darrah, who has practiced divorce law in Hawai`i for nearly 30 years, will give an overview of custody and visitation, division of property, child support, alimony and other matters relating to divorce. Attendees will also learn where to read more about divorce law, how the legal process works and where to obtain Family Court divorce forms and how to use them.

Darrah, who specializes in financially complex matrimonial matters, is editor of the monthly Journal of Hawai`i Family Law and the annual Hawai`i Divorce Manual. A graduate of New York University School of Law, he has been certified by the American Bar Association as a divorce mediator. Since 1979, Darrah has helped with numerous Family Court divorce education programs offered to the public, including The Divorce Experience and Kids First.
