The Friends of the Big Island Drug Court sponsored a float in the Kailua-Kona Fourth of July Parade.  The parade was a great opportunity for both the Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court programs to share about their programs and celebrate their efforts to rebuild their lives.  The float also won first place in the non-profit division!

The Friends of the Big Island Drug Court is a non-profit that supports the Big Island Drug Court and Big Island Veterans Treatment Court programs.  They are pictured above along with Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court participants, alumni, veteran mentors, Chief Judge and Veterans Treatment Court Judge Ronald Ibarra and Drug Court Judge Melvin Fujino.  Congratulations to all those who are celebrating freedom from addiction and thank you to their support network who are standing by their sides!
