"Undaunted Courage and Civil Liberties" Presentation at the King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center

In recognition of Civil Liberties and the Constitution Day, the King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center and the Hawaii State Bar Association Civic Education Committee have organized an evening program to remind us of the courage of those who remain committed to freedom, even when their own civil liberties and rights are being challenged.

From standing up against mass internment of individuals because of their race, to demanding gender equality, to advocating for the rights of immigrant children, many have advanced the cause of equality and justice for all. The featured speakers at the "Undaunted Courage and Civil Liberties" presentation will be Hawaii Supreme Court Associate Justice Sabrina S. McKenna, Law and Social Justice Professor Eric K. Yamamoto and Attorney John Egan.

The program on Thursday, January 30, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Ali`iolani Hale (417 South King Street, Honolulu, HI 96813) is free to the public. For more information or to RSVP, please call (808) 539-4999.
